Fictitious explodes onto the scene mixing the traditional Northern Nevada sound
with the musical foundations and energy of Hyper-Rock. Strap on and pucker up
for their debut album containing eleven hard-hitting tracks about truth, love,
bullshit, friendship, and imagination.Biography:
Forming on New Years Day 2013, Frankly Fictitious
originally formed as a four piece with a desire to Rock n' Roll and melt faces.
Consisting of Jonathan "Danger" Louis exploding the drums, Jason
"Garlic Fingers" VanHavel abusing the keyboard, Kaden "USDA
Approved" Barmore assaulting the guitar, and Trevor Eck on Bass. Frankly
Fictitious established their sound in the style of classic rock legends such as
The Who and Led Zeppelin. Starting out in the Reno area, Frankly Fictitious
begun to establish themselves as a cover band in the surrounding cities of
Sparks and Carson City, making connections and gaining a small fan base.After a brief hiatus and lineup changes, Frankly Fictitious
solidified themselves as a power trio with original music. They exploded back
on to the scene in 2015 as an energetic Hyper-Rock Band, drawing on more
classic rock, punk rock, and metal influences. With Kaden Barmore and Jonathan
Louis reprising their roles on guitar and drums respectively, Jason VanHavel
resolved Frankly Fictitious' "bassist issue" by picking up the boomstick.
Now with an established power trio Hyper-Rock lineup, Frankly Fictitious
continues to captivate audiences with their energetic and spellbinding live
performances.Beginning a Kickstarter campaign in February of 2016, Frankly
Fictitious raised enough money from their generous and adoring fan base to
record, produce, and release their self-titled debut album. Enlisting Rick
Spagnola of Dogwater Studios as the engineer and producer, Frankly Fictitious
wrapped up recording in March of 2017 and released their album in August that
same year. Leveraging the momentum of their fresh new album, Frankly Fictitious
proceeded to conquer the music scenes in Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Virginia
City, further increasing their influence and songs of truth, love, bullshit,
and imagination one city, one state, one county, and one continent at a time.
What started as a humble goal of having fun and improving their personal music
prowess, has led to an insatiable lust for global domination.
