From The Ashes
From the Ashes, is a Kansas City rock band that was formed in 2016. Rising from the ashes of their former bands, Carlos Zumo (Zumo) on vocals and guitar, John Wolters (Surrogate Sons) on guitar, Tom Mundell (For the Broken) on bass, and Sean Devins (For the Broken) on drums. Carlos is fairly new on the KC music scene, coming from the war torn country of Venezuela. Drawing from a wide range of musical influences like Breaking Benjamin, Creed, Papa Roach, Type O Negative, Deftones, The Doors, and Metallica; these guys create a unique sound that's a combination classic rock, hard rock, and 90's/post grunge alternative rock injected with a little Latin flavor. It's sure to have you captivated.
From the Ashes has opened for national recording artists Adelitas Way, Trapt, Smile Empty Soul, and Saving Abel. They are currently working on their demo album.
