Half Past Dead is a six-piece American Rock and Roll band originating from Richmond, Virginia. Founded on August 6th, 2014, Half Past Dead's music is a combination of rock, metal, and punk that echoes with a 70's and 80's influence. Their message is to live life to the fullest and not let anybody or anything get in the way. Their songs, while on the heavy side, range from topics of love, death, and the reality of life. Being both melodic and psychopathic, their shows are packed with energy. Nobody leaves a Half Past Dead concert without their minds blown! HPD brings it to the people real, upfront, and unafraid. Half Past Dead has also opened for popular bands such as Vampires Everywhere!, The Relapse Symphony, Wednesday 13, One-Eyed Doll, The Dead Rabbitts, American Grim, Hail Sagan, and Doyle of the Misfits. They have also headlined their own shows as well. Their self-titled EP which was released on October 2nd, 2016, has gripped the wheel of modern rock music and steered it towards a new direction. The band is currently working on a full-length album set to released sometime in 2019/2020
