"LINKS - BAD ENERGY"

Bad Energy is an energetic track that blends together a haunting backing beat with a rap flow that builds off of the tradition of J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. The nuanced wordplay here will have listeners repeating LINKS’s latest single to hear everything that had been contained in. The chorus is able to strike out in a bold new fashion while riffing on the main backing beat. Bad Energy allows the instrumental and vocal sides of LINKS to shine. Together, they are able to establish the single as something wholly different from what’s currently garnering air play while keeping reverent of the acts that immediately preceded them. - NeuFutur Magazine

"LINKS - STEPS"

STEPS, the latest effort from LINKS, draws from the Atlanta rap tradition. An intelligent, tongue-twisting rap flow unites with a memorable backing beat to make for something that will stand to repeat plays. With nods to T.I. and Big Kuntry King, LINKS is able to make a fresh banger for the summer. STEPS is an effort that moves into new territory at the 2:30 mark, putting a highlight on the lyrical flow. Our favorite side of LINKS’ STEPS has to be how the rap adds not only to the context of the single, but to the overall harmonies that the single achieves. Check it out. - NeuFutur Magazine

"LINKS Releases New Single “Bad Energy” | @hardtolink |"

With his new single ‘Bad Energy’, LINKS is about to make big moves and isn’t stopping for anyone! When Lil Wanye meets Kendrick Lamar’s Please Don’t Kill My Vibe, You get a fusion track that is reminiscent to the vibes of ‘Bad Energy’. The track reminds us to keep yourself secure from the people who “fake the funk’ with you so they can get their foot ahead, smile in your face and try to get what they came for. This reality check hit is bound to have your haters sweating while giving you a groove to bump to.

LINKS has been through it all and has seen it all. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and grew up in cities all over The United States. He was a foster child in his early years, and grew up learning to adapt to different downs and finding new friends everywhere he went. Part of how he chose the name ‘LINKS’, is because he’s the only connection ‘LINK-ing’ them up together, although, it’s hard to ‘link’ him to one place. “Well I mean, I’ve always been a hyperactive kid running around on Ritalin, but I channeled my anxiety/aggression through sports, music and arts.” – LINKS

He served in the Air Force for 4 years, and has currently graduated his Bachelor Degree in Recording Arts in 2014. With music being his main passion, LINKS has been inspired by artists like The Great Marvin Gaye, Lil Wayne,T.I., LL Cool J, and The Notorious BI.G. He’s influenced by many different genres, but the ones which have influenced him the most would have to be Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, Blues and Rap. He is a mixture of sounds and really just loves great music when he hears it. It’s now his time to morph into the great music artist that he knows he is. In 2018, LINKS will be releasing his latest album “The Struggle Is Over”. He is the result of hard work and the mainstream in need of an artist like himself. “I have the confidence of a model, the heart of a lion, the head of a mascot and the fans are what keep me going. So keep bringing the love and support!” – LINKS

‘The Struggle Is Over’ (T.S.I.O.), is LINKS’ transition project between his last album and his next album. “ I want to educate, open minds, and share my experiences…The reason why I put my lifestyle into my music is because I want to be a voice for those who don’t have one… People don’t realize that whatever you put into your body, you digest it, then it comes out. That saying does not only pertain to food, but also music, media, negative people, avoidable circumstances, and the list could go on.” – LINKS

Anteing up with ‘97 BARZ’, the second release & intro off his long awaited new EP T.S.I.O., LINKS is showing off his lyrical savviness and diverse flow while inserting real life experiences. With another progressive trap beat, reinforced with LINKS’ power bars and distinctive delivery, ‘97 Barz’ is that conversation piece that will absorbed your attention for the entire project. A recurring theme in this album, LINKS is #TheNuWave, and interprets the process to success. - By IG: Slaygaryen
