While a newcomer to the Phoenix area, Jay Vacaro is a veteran in the Drum & Bass scene. As a current member of the sound collective, Melt Drum and Bass & with nearly 20 years in the game, he’s developed a signature of dark basslines and hard-hitting drums with a tendency towards the heavier soundscape of genre. His preference isn’t without variety, as he has a soft spot for melodic vocals and flowing bass that almost seems never-ending by his back catalogue of ever-growing music. Opening for the likes of artists such as Dieselboy, Legion, and Bachelor’s of Science, you can expect to hear a vast selection of tracks as he utilizes his mixing style: fast yet calculated, with dynamics that will breathe life to any sound system.
