"New Minnesota Music Releases - The Current Blog"

Jon Storm stands in front of a blue Minneapolis sky on the cover of his new album Brand New Day, and there’s a blue-sky sound to the music as well: smooth, crisply-produced pop with a burbling electronic pulse. A portion of the proceeds from the album will be supporting Ireland’s Hope, a foundation raising awareness of organ-donor registration — named after a Minnesota eight-year-old who’s recently had a heart transplant. Storm plays an album-release show Friday at the Fine Line. - Jay Gabler

Jon Storm — "Undeniable"

Pianos on Parade has been a fun civic experiment by the Minneapolis Downtown Council, and Wisconsin transplant Jon Storm didn't hesitate to take advantage of the random act of musicality in the new video for "Undeniable."

With a blissful reggae guitar line imbuing his song with unconquerable giddiness, Storm strolls around Minneapolis' most famous landmarks to tickle the public ivories. He hits up First Ave, City Center, and Fulton Beer in his quest to sing away the world's worries — an iconic tour of a city that already has an excess of good vibes. - Jarard Fagerberg

"Blog: Jon Storm Music Video To Feature Pianos On Parade"

Something cool happened this weekend throughout Downtown Minneapolis that is pretty unique. The Pianos on Parade locations around Downtown Minneapolis were featured in a new music video filmed by artist Jon Storm. The music video itself, titled “Undeniable”, featured a schedule of performances at different locations all around downtown showing off the Downtown Minneapolis-themed artwork.

Just as a reminder, the Pianos on Parade initiative continues through the end of June and has been incredibly successful in terms of adding music and vibrancy to the downtown area. Along with Jon Storm coming in from Dallas to make his music video, we’ve also had people from across the region stop in just to see these pianos and take a tour of downtown. Last week, we ran into a guy from Green Bay who came in to try out all 25 pianos, play a few songs and see all the different artwork.

We’ve also had Minnesota Music Hall of Famer Lorie Line and former The Voice contestant Nicholas David perform on the pianos. Those people, along with the countless others who have stopped and taken photos or videos while playing the pianos, have made for an extremely vibrant and extraordinary downtown experience.

We hope you’ll continue to take photos and videos throughout June and send them our way using the hashtags #PianosOnParade and #PlayDowntown. Keep us posted on how you’re enjoying and using the pianos, and we’ll continue sharing with our followers throughout the month.

To commemorate Jon Storm’s use of our pianos, we’ve placed a few of his tweets from his music video shoot below. Hope you enjoy! - Mark Remme
