Bio
Joshua West is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, percussionist and drummer born and raised in upstate NY on the shores of Lake Champlain, surrounded by the beauty of the Adirondack Mountains to the south and the Green Mountains of Vermont to the east. From a young age, Joshua began studying an array of instruments and musical mediums ranging from orchestral percussion to vocal performance, rhythm guitar to world music. Joshua served as musical director for his hometown theatre and has performed in numerous ensembles, choirs and bands throughout the United States and internationally and most recently has begun focusing on spreading his message of love and unity through his solo work. Joshua's music blends styles of reggae, hip hop, funk, world and roots Americana music with a focus on conscious lyrics that question the state of our world today through the lens of current events.
