"HOF Premiere: Julian Rothchild - Trendsetter"

We’ve got the very first listen on Julian Rothchild’s second official single “Trendsetter” below. Where as “Not Comin Down” was a lot more EDM-influenced, this one hits hard in the hip-hop realm with dope 808s and of course some ridiculously catchy verses and hooks from Mr. Rothchild. Turn your speakers up real quick and knock this one hard. - Hofisbetter.com

"Julian Rothchild - Not Comin Down"

This was kind of an out-of-the-ordinary blog submission. We normally don’t blog ‘hip-hop’ or ‘pop’ as this is labeled, but even with the slightly lackluster edm-ish production and pile of auto-tune on this track, this unknown artist won me over with both his respectful email and his presence on this track. Dude’s got an alright pop-rap flow tbh, like you won’t be showing your friends in the cut this shit while you are smoking blizzies and whatnot, but I can still hear some potential in this guy’s performance on this. Dude says his dick is a HOUSE. Dude says his dick is a CAR. That’s some shit you just don’t hear every day. - danideahl.com

"Julian Rothchild - Trendsetter"

They always seem to say that no good hip-hop comes from Sacramento, CA. But I definitely gotta disagree. Not only because I'm from there and there's plenty of talent that I know there, but because it's simply not true. I could go down a fat list of rappers from Sac that have made an impression on the hip-hop industry (Brotha Lynch Hung anyone? Chuuwee? Task1ne? C Plus? Hello?), but I'll stop here... Another upcoming name in hip-hop from Sacramento is Julian Rothchild, whose debut single "Not Comin Down" saw a lot of praise from the blogosphere. His latest, "Trendsetter", just premiered via our friends at HOF. It's got a trapped-out beat and one of the catchiest and most well-delivered hooks we've heard in a minute. - tiltmag.com
