Karen Wiltz

Maybe it's something in the water, but the musical talent that comes out of Southeast Texas is undeniable.  Karen Wiltz certainly intends to continue that tradition. Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, she had a successful recording career in her teens with her self-penned "Texas Star On A Tennessee Stage," and that took her to Nashville. However she spent the next several years following her passion and honing her craft as a songwriter. Her Texas roots are apparent in her traditional country style.  She has shared the stage with writers such as Charlie and Dana Black, co-written with Nashville writers such as Pat McManus, but tends to write most of her material alone.  Her following continues to grow with every performance.

With "Leavin' Texas," a love song about her home state, "Blue Moon Tonight," a catchy tune about lost love, and even "Chapters" an anthem about looking back at life and finding yourself again, you will get your share of traditional country with a Texas flair.
