Bio

Lavell Streets, born Dante Fisher, is a rap/hiphop artist, From Bellflower Ca. He Began rapping and writing lyrics at the age of 11 stemming from a school talent show were he recited lyrics to Notorious BIG  - Big Poppa but his own version of the song. The crowd went wild and he has been a student of music ever since. Growing up in Bellflower Ca, he would always travel to local near by cities to either visit family or friends. Building relationships along the way from music, art, dance or with the neighboorhood kids in the community. There were little to any music opportunities in Bellflower so he decided he would move to Los Angeles, Ca, to the Mecca of entertainment, ight after high school in pursuit of a music career. He instantly caught ahold of the flow in the city while making a name for him self in music.

In 2004, Lavell, his good friend MoneyBagz and cousin Bloc formed the group Procity where he got the opportunity to tour all throughout Northern & Southern California. During his journey with the group, he landed a spot on popular radio station Power 106 “The Wake-Up show” with Sway and King Tech rapping to a listening audience of millions.

As time progressed Lavell and the group released multiple projects under the Procity Professional records umbrella and gained success with their single “I’m Cool” landing them on MTVs “Suckafree Sunday” in the number two spot.

Although Mr. Streets gained lots of great experience, while achieving many accomplishments, he parted ways from the group to pursue a solo career. Releasing his first solo project, “Word On The Streets” which was a success. Shortly after, he joined forces with his cousin JbarZz forming the group BarTenderz, creating a strictly underground hiphop project. They achieved local success throughout the Long Beach and Los Angeles underground music scene & digital underground hiphop scene but disbanded when his cousin fell ill.

Today, Lavell is back focusing on his solo career with the release of  his debut EP ‘The Offering” streaming on all digital platforms in the midst of working on new music & other material.
