Bio
At 18, Lex Lakaiser decided to serve his country in the U.S.Army. This took him to foreign places and new opportunities making music. His music career really took off overseas, and he left his mark in Hanau, Germany while still a soldier.
After the soldiers he arrived with had left, Lex hung around and began to build relationships with the biggest DJ's in the Hip Hop industry there. This also earned him a monthly spot on the most popular Hip Hop Radio station in the Hessen area, Planet Radio on "Planet Black Beats." He then became a highly sought after MC for DJs all over Germany. When asked what he had to say about his success, Lex responded, "Shout out to all the DJs from Kassel, Germany and Nodhead Productions in Baunatal, Germany.
He was a slash artist before it was cool to be a rapper that could sing. While in Germany for 10+ years Lex Lakaiser toured and opened for many well-known artists. He not only performed but also wrote for other mainstream artists. Today, he is back in the states and still making noise on the underground hip hop scene. Lex has made some connections with the very legends he grew up listening to and is always working on a new album.
Lately, Lex Lakaiser is just focused on producing music that people can relate to and want to hear, both as Lex Lakaiser and one-half of the #SplashBrothaz, a duo he formed with his younger brother in 2020.
