"Kamp Student Radio"

Luke Carter's sound and style as an independent singer-songwriter from the rural county consists of strong vocals, coupled with acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, and drums. This sound ranges from Toad the Wet Sprocket to Counting Crows. It is something altogether differently written, often focusing on the hope of what is to come, while attempting to live satisfied. I would play this CD when I am doing homework or just relaxing in my room. Luke Carter creates a smooth and calm environment through his vocals. I really enjoyed listening to all of his tracks. Check it out!

Sounds Like: Toad the Wet Sprocket

Bio

A man of many talents, but a man of only few passions in life.  Luke Carter continues to emerge with a new sound upon each release.  His first LP, Heather, was recorded at age 17.  His second recording, Eternally EP, was recorded in his parents house when still living at home.  His third release, a full LP called What We Speak, carried themes of how our words determine our paths.  Lastly, Luke decided to reach out for help with recording.  He contacted Jason Hoard of Black Cat Studios.  Hoard produced Luke's first commercial recording called New Life Old Skin. Knowing he couldn't go back to recording on his own, Luke found Birdsong studio in East Atlanta and recorded Stars, but still reached out to BCS for mastering. Luke has decided to release a new Ep in the coming months called We Will Remember.  We Will Remember is the first time Luke has released an electronic EP using electronic samples and percussion patterns. Luke hopes you are blessed by listening, and that the brokenness of your life can find healing in waiting for love and receiving it.
