Local artist releases new album:
Kiss Me Mama I Gotta Go
Local country artist Neil Dover will release his fourth album titled Kiss Me Mama I Gotta Go in December. The official album release party is scheduled for December 30th at Trattoria at OWA restaurant in Foley, AL.
Neil Dover is an established performer with a clear, unique, and powerful voice. He is a Nashville recording artist, prolific songwriter, and he has opened for the likes of Chris Stapleton and Sam Hunt. His music can be heard on radio stations from Florida to Texas. His online videos have received more than a quarter million views. He has performed before packed houses at the famed Florabama lounge in Pensacola every Wednesday for eight years and is often referred to as "the voice of the Gulf Coast."
Dover’s weekly shows at the Florabama have been called a “Nash-Vegas” act. Part story-teller, part comedian, and all musician; Dover entertains and enthralls. Fans from far flung states: Michigan, Idaho, and Nebraska, to name a few, come south every year to see him perform. He receives five star ratings on booking sites where clients rate their experience after hiring him. He has been reviewed by Trip Advisor where he also received a five star rating.
Kiss Me Mama I Gotta Go has been almost a year in the making. The 4th track on the album is a song called “Fifty Years,” lauding praise on couples who have achieved such a milestone in their marriage. Fifty years is a touching and uplifting song intended to remind us of the contributions of America’s greatest generation. Dover will initiate a Kickstarter campaign (located at Kickstarter.com) in December to raise money for radio promotion of the song.

The Neil Dover Band got their start in country music but have expanded to become a full variety, multi-genre cover band.
