Discography

In July of 2019, Pure Discretion began recording, and ultimately released their debut, self-titled EP. At the time, the band consisted of 4 members, having been recorded prior to Sam Solomen joining later that same month. This initial release saw an unanticipated level of success, accumulating over 5,000 streams across all streaming platforms. Bittersweet was a clear favorite of their audience, motivating the band to gear their next release towards those who enjoyed their first track.

Jumping right back into the studio, Pure Discretion recorded their newest single, "Rising Tide." Having the resources for a much more intensive recording process, this release marked a massive jump in sound quality for the band. "Rising Tide" saw excellent reviews from their core fanbase and has around 1,500 streams to date, spanning all platforms and mediums.

Looking forward, the band is planning to take their sound in a heavier direction. On November 13, Pure Discretion announced (via instagram) their intention to release their next project, coming in Spring of 2020.

Bio

Pure Discretion was originally formed in February of 2019 by guitarists Isaiah Smith and Nick Kostulas, who met in school and quickly became friends due to their similar interests in music. The two had the same dream to give their own spin on the genre of rock.

The band quickly grew from two to three when drummer Gunnar Haas was added to the group in May, followed shortly after by vocalist Luke Boyce. All four worked well together and shared a common interest in the substance behind rock, more specifically, the careful construction of raw lyrical content behind powerful melodies and heavy rhythm and bass.

The group began to grow closer and got together as much as possible to practice, getting ready to record their debut, the "Pure Discretion EP," which gives listeners a taste of what the band is about and what is to come.

Shortly after recording their EP, bass player Sam Solomon was added to the group. Their goal is to create and provide a sound unlike any other band, making their audience feel they have discovered something all their own
