In order to take more control in the dance music industry, New York DJ Rhenalt has formed a new label entitled “Rebel Eye.” Aiming to bring quality house music with an edge, Rebel Eye is all about going against the grain and pushing the envelope creatively. Featuring several artists on the Rebel Eye roster, Rhenalt dropped a new mix exclusively through VIBE to give the people a little taste of what’s to come on the newfound house label.

dance4life, Sensation’s exclusive charity, will debut its global movement in the United States on the second night of the world’s leading electronic dance music event, with a pre-party on Saturday, October 27 in New York City. The cocktail and auction event supported by Sensation, with media sponsor Vibe Magazine, music by internationally famed DJ Rhenalt and co-hosted by dance4life and its celebrity ambassador and Victoria’s Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes, will take place at Manhattan’s Milk Studios before transporting guests to the Barclays Center for Sensation’s final night.
dance4life plays a major role in young people’s lives worldwide through youth empowerment programs established in almost 30 countries. With its stateside expansion the organization hopes to educate the youth of America and inspire change. Approximately 1.2 million people in the United States live with HIV with a total of 33.4 million people worldwide. Young people account for 40 percent of new infections across the globe and around fifty thousand people are newly infected each year in the United States. dance4life empowers young people to take action to push back HIV and AIDS with a four step program: inspire, educate, activate and celebrate. - SARAH POLONSKY

Rhenalt thinks, breathes, and lives music! He has been interested in electronic music since the late ’80s. Going to nightclubs in the ’90s inspired him to start djing. Hearing the legendary DJs helped him find his sound. He has performed in every major club in New York City. His international gigs have taken him to venues in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Rhenalt’s style of music varies from tech house, techno with a splash of tribal. Rhenalt’s DJ sets are filled with energy that keeps the crowd in a frenzy. The title ambassador for Dance4life was given to him for spinning at the very first V.I.P party associated with Sensation White in New York City. Code Red signed by Stripped Digital U.K and Reach out signed by Get up records got support from John Digweed, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Satoshi Tomie, Robert Owens just to name a few. Rhenalt released tracks on DJ PIERRE’S label AFRO ACID DIGITAL. The legendary Underground Resistance is an outfit he works closely with. Expect releases in association with the U.R camp shortly. TODD TERRY recently signed his new single THE GODS. Expect remixes from Todd “THE GOD” Terry for this release! The uncompromising New York-based Nervous Records released STREETS OF NEW YORK to add to his credits of great music labels. Rhenalt produced and remixed records for labels from around the world. His well-crafted “LIMITLESS” DJ mix for beatport.com charted at 20 in the top 100 DJs category. He is currently starting his own production company called Rebel Eye. Rhenalt wants to put out the style of electronic music that inspired him to start djing. He’s working on his first artist album at the moment.
