Bio
Shavonne Na'tey has been singing since the tender age of 3 even becoming a member of the Cathedral Girls of Oakland, CA at the age of 6 years old. She comes from a family of singers, more notably her uncle Oliver Scott a former member of the Gap Band and songwriter of “Yearning for Your Love”. Shavonne has continued to foster her gift of song and her undying passion for ministry founding Shavonne Na'tey Ministries.
Shavonne's professional music industry resume stretches across all genres of music. From providing background vocals for gospel artists Le'Andria Johnson, Mama Sue, Vincent Powell; R&B artist LeToya Luckett and Hip Hop/Rap Artist Scarface. Opening for gospel greats Rance Allen and Tamela Mann to name a couple. She's also been Praise and Worship director at four ministries throughout Texas.
With a mission to “Bring life into dead situations James 1:2-4” she was ordained as an evangelist in 2009. She's been working alongside her husband and Pastor, Elder Dexter Beck with Kingdom Building Ministries throughout Central Texas. Hosting community events and ministry conferences geared toward bringing families closer to God and healing broken people they've become a beacon of light in Waco. More recently, Shavonne joined the cast of "Our Journey Alive" a Docu-series dedicated to raising awareness on domestic violence and sexual abuse in the US. Shavonne never hesitates to preach the Word of God, sing the Good News of Christ or organize a platform for the Children of God to come together and worship!
