Bio

Formed amid a global pandemic, Shelter in Place crashed into the heart of the Tulsa music scene. With influences from the likes of Breaking Benjamin, Led Zeppelin, Staind, and Alice In Chains, Shelter in Place brings a hard and heavy vibe that's unapologetically gritty, raw, and in-your-face. With a high energy stage show, these musicians will keep you on your feet!

Shelter in Place's inception began with 3 friends who shared the love of music. While playing in local and regional bands, Shane Diego (Lead Guitar), Tyler Griese (Rhythm Guitar), and Brandon Bahadorani (Bassist) shared a common goal to create real and influential music. Covid 19 tried to obstruct that goal. During the nationwide shut down, vocalist Tyler Parry, who was an acoustic cruise line artist at the time, found himself stranded in Tulsa.

In search of a new start, Parry connected with Griese at local hot spots, and an instant chemistry sparked. The band only lacked a drummer, but soon found that in percussionist Cody Hicks. An artist since he was a young boy, he brought the perfect heavy hitting, influential sound Shelter in Place was looking for. Hicks was the final link to their formation.

With an electrifying live performance, Shelter in Place envelopes you from start to finish. With raucous guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and bellowing vocals, their delivery is nothing short of entertaining.
