"RockBandom Magazine"

“~ Sounds From Wednesday Very talented duo indeed, playing a mix of genres and styles but they are heavily influenced by classic rock and it shows by just listening to them, to be honest its a pleasure indeed and I personally love the style, Both female and male vocals are just fantastic, they really have the knack of drifting you in. Vocally superb, Lyrically supreme and the music is second to none.~”

"Sound Bites Management"

“***Go give a listen to SFW...they're an awesome band who writes music like the great music you probably grew up listening to, but with their own twist***”
- Sound Bites Management (Nov 03, 2014) -

"Music Reviews"

“★ ★ ★ ★ This band does a great job of telling stories. If you like classic rock but are tired of listening to the same songs over and over then its time to crank some SOUNDS FROM. WEDNESDAY”
- Michael Smith, Music Reviews (Sep 28, 2014) - Michael Smith

"Uncut and Unsigned Radio"

“An oversea visitor today was Sounds From Wednesday and they are a tight duo. The track aired today, The D.A., falls outside some of their other music ( which tends to be neo folk) and is a great little edgy number with some excellent guitar playing on it”
- Tony Bates, Uncut and Unsigned Radio ( Victoria, Australia - Tony Bates

"Talent turns out for North Texas Songwriter Festival"

Jay Melugin, who started the festival 8 years ago, estimated that last year’s festival drew a crowd of about 700 people. He expects an audience of around 1,000 to attend this weekend’s pair of seven-hour shows.

“It’s raw, written music,” he said, and performers are barred from taking the stage with backing bands.

“I tell the songwriters … `I want you to perform the song the way you wrote it, and you didn’t write it with the band. You wrote it sitting in your living room or on the back porch with your guitar. That’s the way I want to hear it,’” he said.

“It’s all about the songwriting

Bio

SOUNDS FROM WEDNESDAY ( SFW)  ----Steve and Kelle Huddleston are songwriters/ artists from north central Texas. Rock infused music influenced by classic rock, folk rock and alternative from 60's to present.  They are story tellers .  Their songs can be somewhat upbeat or lean toward a pensive/reflective and sometimes  darker side.

Steve had played electric guitar in a  rock band years ago and was one of the principle songwriters for them.. He then started writing and playing solo , finding a different "voice" on the acoustic guitar.  Steve 's  acoustic picking/strumming style  drives  most of the songs. Kelle joined in a couple years ago and SFW was formed. Starting with vocals and helping with lyrics,  she is now adding keyboards to performances.
