Spenser Sterling is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and now lives/works in New Jersey. The “culture shock” of that move from a smaller American town to the fast paced East Coast lifestyle was exactly what go him focused on his purpose….to CREATE GREAT MUSIC! Although he loves his born home there is nothing like the energy of going to an event or even walking the streets in a place like NYC. For the last 10 years the progress has been evident in the music he releases.
Spenser’s first placement started out much like you’d expect - with independent, local artists. Since Spenser is a producer/artist he has a unique relationship and dedication to artists who are striving to make music. As a producer he has credits with rappers like Chucky Grand(Welcome to the Cypher, 2010) and DaDean29(PoP, 2012). He also has credits as a producer in dance music as well….Inia(Feel Good, 2015) and Natasha Jane Julian(Happily Ever After, 2018) are just a few. Now as an artist he has amassed a solid catalogue of close to 100 songs and 11 personal projects. Honestly…this is just the beginning for him!!!!
All credits and specifics aside Spenser Sterling is a servant of culture! He is blessed to have known his passion and purpose in life at an early age. To share his music and to give back to the community that has given him air to breathe. The consistent refining of his talent and music shows that. Becoming a producer and not just a beat maker. Becoming a viable addition to any conversation as a quality emcee! The LOVE and COMMITMENT shows!
