"New Alternative Band Make An Unforgettable Debut"

Newest alternative band from El Paso, Texas “Stars In the Day” released their debut EP “Screaming Lights” on July 11th, 2023. The band consists of four members, Lead vocalist and guitarist Raymond Amparan; J Raul Armendariz on drums; Gabriel Baza on bass. These 3 friends combined their musical abilities to construct a breathtaking EP full of luscious sounds.

The band’s debut EP “Screaming Lights” available on all streaming platforms now has made a positive impact in their hometown after the EP’s opening track “Could Have Lied” made its first radio debut on El Paso’s 95.5 KLAQ. Upon releasing “Screaming Lights” this July, the band is back in the studio again having planned to release their second studio EP sometime in the winter of 2023 hoping to leave their mark in the alternative genre.

Singer Raymond Amparan’s sound is shaped by his earlier influences, bands like Mutemath and U2, which helped Raymond shape his vibrant voice that captures emotion and passion. Raymond states, “I remember being 16 and listening to Mutemath’s self-titled album for the first time and it was mindblowing. After hearing Paul Meany sing in that album I knew I didn’t just want to play guitar, I also wanted to sing and give others that special feeling Paul’s voice gave me.”

Every three of these members brings their own taste, influences, and style to the songs which shape their unique sound that makes Stars In the Day. These guy’s aren’t slowing down anytime soon, this is just their beginning. - Artist PR & Pop Icon Magazine
