Steel Joe

Buried in the suburban life of Kendall, Steel Joe is a unique composition of misdirected souls. All of the band members have been tugged in different directions their entire lives, and now finally found a spot that feels right. We are making music that illustrates the content of our our soul. As a 6 piece band, it's always more difficult to schedule practice and shows around our governed lives, but all so rewarding at the end of the day when we take our rejuvenating bath in our sound. The band was founded by Gabriel pita (lead guitar/rhythm), Philip Bourgi (keyboards/synth), and Jordan Underbrink (Rhythm guitar/vocals). Shortly after these 3 soul brothers began jamming, they had a bigger vision for the work they were making. 2 months later, Catherine Toruno (drums/percussions) and Alison Sauri (lead vocals) joined the band.  Steel Joe did not find a stable bassist for some time; we always had bad luck with them. Finally, Ian renaud was the 6th sense added to our bucket of sound. Following months of practice, Steel Joe has originally composed over 10 songs, and hopes to get them on an album. If only we could afford somewhere to record other than an Apple iPhone. We began playing shows locally and received plenty of positive reactions from peers. The band likes to believe that on stage, they no longer play the instruments, but the instruments play them. Translating the inner self of the band members into a tangible language known as music. Steel Joe is also known for using "mood modifiers" to help open up doors and inspire them to create sounds that have never been imagined before.
