""Now that's inspired songwriting!""

“Run to Daylight”, written and performed by award-winning Bay Area singer/songwriter Steve Krause, was selected as the official theme song for the first annual “Run to Remember 9-11,” that brought 1,000 runners to San Francisco’s picturesque Embarcadero on Sunday, September 11, 2005. Proceeds from the race benefitted Team Bingham and the Tom Burnett Family Foundation, organizations established in memory of Mark Bingham and Tom Burnett, two Bay Area residents who lost their lives on September 11 aboard Flight 93.

A rock-inflected pop song featuring a powerhouse vocal, “Run to Daylight” received radio airplay on the Radio Alice Morning Show, KLLC 97.3, Infinity Broadcasting’s flagship San Francisco station.

""Provocative and Fun""

Steve Krause's music is both provocative and fun...he has a wonderful lyrical sense and a clever way of translating how he sees the world into song...definitely worthwhile listening. - Ben Wisch, Producer of Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis"

""Melodies that will leave you humming their hooks for years.""

Steve Krause has given us a collection of wonderful songs in his album Very Fine Line. These are songs which take us back to a time where lyrics told us stories and their melodies left us humming their hooks for years. - Marc Levisohn, Owner/Creative Director, BIG EARS; Board of Trustees, Berklee College of Music

""Packed with subtle emotion""

Steve’s songs are packed with subtle emotion as they build from beginning to end. There is a sensitivity and lyrical relevance in these songs not unlike that of David Wilcox, which takes me back to the CD player long after I thought I might have tired of them. The world could use more music like this. - Denny Stillwell, President, Unisound Marketing and Promotion
