"Ol' Hazel Eyes"

"...Sinatra's long time friend and associate Tino Barzie and his musical director Vincent Falcone thought they had stumbled on an old Sinatra recording the first time they heard Mr. Lippia's demo tape."

"...He's not trying to impersonate the original; he's just trying to live out his dream of becoming a big time singer using the natural voice with which he was blessed. So much the better if he happens to sound like one of the greatest voices of this county." - Wall Street Journal

"Sinatra's World On A String"

From Mr. Lippia's first notes in "I've Got the World on a String," it was clear he has Ol' Blue Eyes' sound in his bones. The weight he showed in his low notes was still present at the top of the baritone range without straining or rasping. Sinatra, at his best, exhibited fine testure and remarkable flexibilty, projecting like a bow against a sting. Mr. Lippia brought that same heft to his performance, handling the low-register singing and tricky syncopations of "The Best is Yet to Come" and the wide leaps of "Come Fly With Me" with ease.

As the evening neared its end, Mr. Lippia remained in fine form. His version of "My Way" was stirring and resolute. His stage banter was humoroius and unforced, filled with tales from performing in Vegas and on tour elsewhere. The concert's witchcraft was broken by the strains of the traditional closing march, but the evening's cool, controlled feel was a spell everyone was happy to be under. - Dave Allen-Philadelphia Bulletin

"Rock Solid Performance From Steve Lippia"

"Once again a rock solid performance from Steve Lippia. I always know he'll deliver a home run and the audience will always want more. He has classic talent with a style all his own. No matter what the occasion or venue Steve elevates the event." - Encore Productions - Jamey Gallagher

"Performance at Maralago"

"I just wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for your performance at our event in Palm Beach Maralago! We received rave reviews from all of our attendees and we definately hope to work with you in the very near future." - The Experiential Agency - Vive Bridges

"Steve Lippia: A Dream Pops Artist"

"When a conductor finds a Pops artist who has an awesome voice, charismatic stage presence, first rate charts and is fantastic to work with that conductor wants to tell everyone."

"In my 20 years of conducting Pops concerts across the USA and Europe, I have never seen an audience rise to their feet as fast as they did for Steve. He literally had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand." - Nicholas Palmer/Owensboro Symphony

"Sensational Sinatra"

"The Tucson Symphony having Steve Lippia... attracted some of the biggest audiences we had this season. In fact, it was the most finacially successful Pops concert we have ever had!" - Terry Marshall/Tucson Symphony

"In Sinatra's Style"

"It's not the frequent SRO audience filling the intimate and elegant new nightspot inside Resorts Atlantic City, who illistrate just how hot is singer Steve Lippia. Instead, it is the overflow of late comers (who can't get in and stand on the wall-less lounge's outside perimeter to listen) who are the greatest testament to Lippia's still burgeoning popularity." - Courier-Post

"They Did It Frank's Way"

"Lippia, who is highly personable on stage and off... is a pro who knows his ability to evoke Sinatra's magic is valuable, not only to him but to thousands of listeners around the country." - The Hawk Eye, Burlington, IA

"Celebrate Sinatra"

"The man headlining the show, in my opinion, is the best interpreter of Frank Sinatra's music, performing today... He doesn't look at all like or share the same body language as Mr. S but close your eyes and just take in his performance. When he opens his mouth it's THE VOICE reborn. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!" - CHRY Radio York - York University - Toronto

Bio

Steve Lippia's show reintroduces American Standards (Great American Songbook) through the prism of today with an energetic, musically powerful blend of influences: Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett and more recently, Harry Connick, Jr.

Steve's dynamic performances have brought him around the world, where he has headlined with the famous Woody Herman Orchestra.

Steve performs over 100 shows a year in major venues, throughout the U.S. and Canada, including some of the most prestigious concert halls where he headlines with dozens of symphonies.

Steve has done 2 national tours with his 10-piece band, The first was a 42 city bus tour of the Midwest and the second was a 35 city tour of the west coast.

Among leaders and "captains of industry," Steve's show has been a favorite. He has performed for President Gerald Ford, Donald Trump, Aaron Spelling, Michael Dell and the Walton Family (founders of Walmart) and John Stamos among others.

He has also made numerous appearances on TV, including "Extra", CNN's "Showbiz Today", Fox's "Good Day New York", ABC, the BBC and even a special on Finnish TV 2.

Steve headlined at the Rio Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas in a highly successful extended engagement with his 21-piece orchestra.

He also was booked by the William Morris Talent Agency in what became a hugely successful 6-month engagement at Resorts in Atlantic City, where Steve's show literally broke attendance records. People waited in line for 2-1/2 hours to get a seat.

Steve repeated that success when he performed at the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City with his hot 16-piece band. The result was more record-breaking attendance in two extended runs.

Whether with an intimate trio, a 10 or 16-piece hot, swinging big band or a lush 100 strong symphony, Steve delivers a very moving, get up and dance musical show.
