"The Slice, Episode 88 [Hip-Hop + R&B]"

Cologne-based beat smith Mensing and singer Tally Schwenk team up for "Hangin' On," an ethereal beat ripe with lush guitar stabs, airy textures, and punchy drums to match. Schwenk is more than comfortable over this soothing backdrop and delivers a sultry performance that sees her reflecting on a situationship that seems to be stuck in one place. - EARMILK

"TOP SUBMISSIONS EP2 AUG 2021"

Cologne-based producer Mensing teams up with Tally Schwenk – “Hangin’ On” a smooth dreamy r&b/soul track that showcases angelic melodic runs and evocative lyrics about the dynamics of relationships. - The Word Is Bond

""Relief" - Lesky ft. Mensing & Tally Schwenk"

Second single from Lesky’s forthcoming debut album on Melting Pot Music. Relief is LESKYs first ever alt r’n’b song. Thanks to the sultry voice of New Jersey-based songstress Tally Schwenk, spring is just around the corner (and Sade fans will not be disappointed, too). Co-produced by Cologne beatmaker Mensing. Lesky’s album Meraki is scheduled for June and will feature beat heavy weights like FloFilz and Phlocalyst alongside new talents like Satyr and Midan plus some bars by Turt (Summers Sons). - Wordplay Magazine

"Lesky - Relief (feat. Tally Schwenk & Mensing)"

A little two for one post today courtesy of Lesky and Melting Pot Music. The first track “Relief” featuring Tally Schwenk and Mensing right out the gate lets you know that it’s not like other downbeat hit up, with its immersive atmosphere and soulful vocals. The second “Oyster” featuring FloFilz, Phlocalyst and Sakura Murakami feels a bit more inline with what MPM has been putting out as of late: light jazz horns, thick keys, a surprising guitar lead, and some rolling drums make for a track that might not be that original, but still sounds damn good nonetheless. - Raw Select Music

"Tee Peters - "Autumn" feat. Tally Schwenk & Mensing"

Backed by the laidback, nostalgic textures courtesy of producer Mensing, Tee takes time to dive into the ups and downs of parenthood and love through the lens of an adult. He shares his own experiences with an honest performance and heartfelt lyrics. Joining him on the track is vocalist Tally Schwenk who adds her own unique blend of sultry melodies to the mix. - The Word Is Bond

"The Slice, Episode 50"

Emerging singer-songwriter Jack Page opens our 50th edition of The Slice with his sophomore single "Either Way" — a spectacular showcase of soulful vocals and warm textured melodies. The trio of Tally Schwenk, Devon Rea, and Epifania prove that love is very much alive on new single "Wasted Love" while producer Kilamanzego goes the alchemist route by fusing multiple genres together in the uber-dynamic instrumental "Jungle Frequency." Queens, NY resident, Mike Banz is all about super lyricism and bravado on "Big Cars" but RETROPXSSY goes for a more edgy sound fon her self-empowerment jam titled "BOO." D.C./SF rapper Rocky G & L.A. producer, NugLife takes us on a nice smooth ride through the hazy vibes of "OG Smoke" as we get a whiff of some posse cut dopeness from TRENCHES, New Saint, Oliver Throne, & Jon Swan on "JENI." Sarah Bertola raises the energy with the energetic soul-funk of her uplifting anthem"Everybody's Hurting" and producer TooBusy teams up with the veteran emcee Billy Danze on the gritty "Married to the Blues." Trinidad James' newest release "Jame$ Woo Woo" pays tribute to the late great James Brown while Slim Mucho shares some bleak stories on the melancholic "YELLOWSTONE MEMOIRS." Solarrio goes to the motherland with "On My Mind" as he recruits Nigerian afro-house queen Niniola for some groovy vibes. Production duo Jad Abstrock and Theo Aabel flip a classic sample for their nostalgia-inducing beat "Golden Gate" as Yury returns with "Outcast"—a self-produced off-kilter trap banger. Singer Andrew Waines shares his first 2020 release "Safe With Me"—an R&B/pop jam that captures the dynamics of teenage-love. UK soul duo GeeJay closes this edition with the vintage soul cut "Devil Called Love" which is actually a modern-day interpolation of Billie Holliday's "That Ole Devil." - EARMILK

"Tally Schwenk released 'Better Days'"

Tally Schwenk is a singer/songwriter that was born in Russia, and raised in Montclair, New Jersey. Her music blends Contemporary R&B with Chill-hop, creating a soulful and emotional vibe. From love songs to mental health empowerment, she writes from a place of vulnerability hoping to help heal those who are in need of a light.

Today, we are super excited to announce her latest release "Better Days" produced by Devon Rea.

This project is built with sounds that move and breathe with the artist. It explores acceptance and a sense of inspiration for when we have days that are harder than others. It is bright and open, her peculiar way of putting feelings into words in the simplest, but most pure way is what I like the most about Tally. She has created her own lane without sacrificing her artistry. If you're looking for a chill, but yet uplifting song, this the one to go. - Soulsound Blog
