"The Innovators Music Group presents “Mixtape Deez”"

The Innovators show themselves to be quite innovative on their “Mixtape Deez” project. If you are looking for high-energy performances, a hybrid sound including old school hip hop with funk elements, then you’ve come to the right place. Their style is boom bap, but something more at the same time. Within some melodies, such as the first several tracks on the project, you can hear something like Earth Wind and Fire. Yet, at the same time, their cohesive effort still reminds one of Wu-Tang Clan.

Highlights from the project include, “Some Days,” (which is a banger by the way), “O.G. Said,” and, “Crush (Prod. Julez on the Beat.” Overall, the group show themselves as a talented and diverse force to be reckoned with. Their strengths lie in the fact that they work so well together, and that not too many people make this style nowadays. Check out Miami-based The Innovators on their project “Mixtape Deez.”

"The Innovators Music Group Is Coming Hard Out Of Miami"

From notable styles and a stunning stage presence, The Innovators Music Group’s music is standing out as an entity all its own. The quality of art, music, and dedication put forth by the industrious team is definitely making a mark and impact on the music community. It won’t be long before you hear The Innovators Music Group’s music nationwide and internationally. Major moves are being made by these amazing talents.

If you are looking for high-energy performances, hybrid hip hop lyrics over nostalgic contemporary beats, look no further than this Miami, FL based group that been pushing the boundaries of music since 2010. “Our sound comes from combining witty lyrics, off the wall flows, and life experiences. We consist of six members: A.C.T., Chin, Dez The Navigator, and P-Jizzle who make up The Innovators while Julez On The Beat and Señor Chase round out the group,” The Innovators Music Group reveal.

2017 will be an innovative year as The Innovators are preparing to release their highly anticipated project called Mixtape Deez. A.C.T. has recently released Stage 4. Chin is working on a solo project, and look for multiple projects from Señor Chase and The Gemini Project (Dez The Navigator and Julez On The Beat). “Our goals are to connect and gain more fans, gain more accolades, release more music, and go on tour,” they add in. -

"A.C.T - Stage 4 Mixtape Review"

An emcee born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and currently resides in Orlando, FL. We have a rap artist by the name of A.C.T, making his solo debut mixtape appearance with STAGE 4 on NikkiSiixx.com. He already carryies four solo mixtapes under his belt. A.C.T is also a part of Hip-Hop Group The Innovators. A.C.T has been working on STAGE 4 since late 2014, and we’re glad it’s finally out. He brings a look into a life when trying to graduate school and dealing with several hurdles that he needed to go over. Touches on challenges like developing himself as an artist, school issues, challenges with finding a job, relationships with women, getting a deeper understanding of God, fighting against the temptation of sexual lust and so much more.

STAGE 4 provides a mix of 90’s boom-bap and modern trap music. Gives a refreshing feel to the new and old. Somewhat like paying tribute. A.C.T is constantly working on creating music that everyone can relate to. With my mixtape review, I’ll be breaking down my favorite tracks. And the ones I find to really be stand out songs. My favorite tracks off of STAGE 4 are Intro, Loving It, Two Step, Chillin, Mic Flow, and Beauty And The Swamp.

[INTRO] Besides it being an actually introduction to A.C.T, he gives you a few facts about him. A.C.T daydreams about when he’ll bless Sway In The Morning with a dope freestyle. I thought this was a unique way to start the mixtape. Begins with great vibes and sure it will continue.

[LOVING IT] Bringing back those old school 90’s hip-hop vibes with this one. A.C.T emphasizes all the tough times he went through that helped him to really appreciate the good things in life. On this track we have the sultry songstress Jazzette making her vocals known throughout it.

[TWO STEP] A.C.T embraces his confidence. Through his flow, lyrics, and story-telling. When he’s out with the boys and someone catches his attention. No matter the situation he still gets what he’s after. This track also features Innovator member Dez The Navigator.

[CHILLIN] Love the production on this song! Smooth and hard-hitting. Reminds me of cyphers back at Catalyst. You got to nod your head to this one. A.C.T’s flow is captivating, really stays strong and has BARS!

[MIC FLOW] You can tell A.C.T has a sense of humor, you can tell by the way he starts this track with a skit. What STAGE 4 really persist of are good vibes and enlighten lyrics. This track also features Cam Johnson on the second verse. So say if this was a battle, I would prefer A.C.T’s verse on this track.

[BEAUTY AND THE SWAMP] What a pleasant surprise! On this track, A.C.T has femcee Nikki G coming in with the first verse. I love her flow-etry. And with A.C.T’s tone in the second verse makes him sound like a beast. If you pick up on his wordplay, it’s hella witty. Great chemistry between the two, hope to hear more collars in the near future.

This concludes my mixtape review on A.C.T latest mixtape STAGE 4. Don’t think it was only six tracks that made the cut, there were couple other tracks that caught my attention. Especially, his track called How I Feel Part 2. Overall great vibes, revisiting 90’s boom-bap and modern hip-hop flows. A.C.T definitely presents promise with his lyrics and with his music you can relate too. Stay in the loop for more content from A.C.T by staying connected with his social media.

WORDS FROM A.C.T:
“First of all Big ups to God for being everything I need in my life. If it was not for him, I would not be here and I would not be able to make the music that he has blessed me to do. "Introducing The Innovators Music Group"

Today we’d like to introduce you to Desmond “Dez The Navigator” Patten, Marcus “ACT” Frazier, Lathan “Chin” Kyles, Broderick “P-Jizzle” Agnew, Brandon “Señor Chase” Marshall, Julian “Julez On The Beat” Clayton and Joshua “Carterboi” Carter.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
If you are looking for high-energy performances, hybrid Hip-Hop lyrics over nostalgic contemporary beats look no further than The Innovators Music Group. Since 2010 we have been pushing the boundaries of music. Our sound comes from combining witty lyrics, off the wall flows, and life experiences. We all met each other in the marching band at The Great Bethune-Cookman University a Historical Black College/University in Daytona Beach, Florida. After college, we decided to move our operations to Miami for more musical opportunities.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Chin: The challenges and obstacles I faced were not having enough finances, notoriety, and disciplined habits that’ll force me to not be so distracted with everything else including the naysayers.

A.C.T: Most certainly not. Self-motivation is one of the most challenging issues we’ve faced. It’s easy to get discouraged when you’ve been grinding for so long and you don’t see the results you want to see. Regardless though, you have to keep pushing.

Dez The Navigator: Nope not at all. To this day, we as a label are trying to figure it out. Music is an art anybody can do it. The challenge is making the music connect with the people. Getting people to believe in the movement The Innovative brand. It’s hard so I commend people pushing to do music in any genre. We did performances when nobody was there. I’m just happy to have a team with me.

Señor Chase: Some of my struggles include but are not limited to: Seldom bouts of low self-esteem, Time management, Closed mindedness of others and Funds.

P-Jizzle: The journey to get to where I am now definitely wasn’t smooth and definitely had its challenges. From having kids in my early 20’s. To not have any equipment to work on my craft. Let alone a computer. I had to depend on others to use their equipment.

The Innovators Music Group – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The Innovators Music Group is a recording label founded in 2010. We specialize in Hip-Hop yet we open-minded to create in any genre of music. Over the past ten years, we released over twenty musical projects independently. We have performed at amazing events such as Artscape (Baltimore, MD), Miramar Day (Miramar, FL), Rel Carter Culture Tour (Orlando, FL), Livewire At Bethune-Cookman University (Daytona Beach, FL), and Delandapoolza (Deland, FL) to name a few. What sets us apart from others is what we stand for, how we operate, and our personality. We believe that if we can make it so can you and always chase purpose. Our most proud moments are when we are able to create ourselves an opportunity to perform and at the same time extend the opportunity to other artists. For example, Innovative Activity which is our event we created to provide a platform artist to perform at.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
ACT: I define success as someone who obtains what they work hard for. The criteria for everyone is different. For me personally, it’s celebrating the small victories that will eventually lead to the big ones.

Chin: I measure success on if I fulfilled my purpose for being on this planet. Being successful for me is having music as a career and platform to inspire people to become who they were born to be. I want my life to help shape others into becoming the best version of themselves. When it does that, then I’ll feel successful.

P-Jizzle: Success is when you feel a sense of accomplishment from those around you as well as yourself. Success for me consists of so many factors. Success for me is when someone can identify the innovative sound.

Dez The Navigator: Success for me always various. If you are achieving the goals you set, challenging yourself to constantly learn and evolve and inspire that’s a true success because the money will come. Finding your passion and purpose is important to me.

Carterboi: Success is maintaining vision and being better than I was yesterday.

Señor Chase: Success – the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. I am successful when I can do what I set out to do. It doesn’t have to be the best, long as I put my best into. - VoyageMia
