"Tracks of the Week"

Dulcet, sunshiney 70s nostalgia (with healthy lashings of 80s joie de vivre in the video), delivered with harmonised flair by Brooklyn twins Moon City Masters. Imagine Blind Faith having a jolly old time with the Allmans and you’re on the right track. Good clean retro fun. - Loudersound.com

"Tracks of the Week"

Plenty of millennial-gen rock bands draw from the 70s. Listening to this sweet, beautifully harmonised ‘choon, however, you can’t help wondering if The Moon City Masters think it still is the 70s. And that’s not a bad thing; especially not if the idea of Little Feat partying at a glam night (and distilled into just under three and a half minutes) appeals. - Classic Rock Magazine

"The Change - The Moon City Masters"

I have always been sad that I didn’t grow up in the era in which I could go to a rock n roll concert. Bands like The Moon City Masters give me hope that one day I might be able to. With their soulful rock sound that reminds me of sunshine and being with loved ones, they create a perfect balance of upbeat and cheerful with funky basslines. Not only do The Moon City Masters sound like they are out of the 70s, when you see a photo of them you feel like you were transported back in time. The meaning behind this song is really important in this day and age that we are living in and when an artist releases an empowering/hopeful song like this that is always something I can get behind. - Mugatunes.com

"Indie Fascination List"

The planet of Moon City sent their best band to bring harmonious, soulful rock and roll to the people of Earth. The Moon City Masters play positive, feel-good rock music with catchy melodies, funky basslines and crunchy riffs. “Ghost” is a tune that musically invokes some of our favorite elements of band like Free and The Beatles. The song lyrically is really a coming of age tune about looking at your dreams, regrets, and overall plans for how your life would work out. The song is all about facing those ghosts. Eric Martin-like vocals and highs to leave you satisfied, the gang lights up the night sky with this dang charm named ‘Ghost’. Throw in charisma and the rockin’ vibes at strategic points, the song amplifies with exuberance and continuity. - Comeherefloyd.com

"Tracks of the Week"

We can’t remember exactly how we first stumbled upon this Brooklyn band of brothers, but when they put out feel-good, West Coast-y little beauties like this we’re bloody glad we did. At the time of us publishing this its views hadn’t even hit triple figures – that deserves to change, so get listening... - Classic Rock Magazine

"Bringing BandLab to Billboard: The Moon City Masters"

Billboard and BandLab partnered to spotlight talented emerging artists looking for a big break in the industry. First up in this two-part series is The Moon City Masters. They are a neo-classic rock band with a sound deeply inspired by soul and funk music from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. After multiple stints playing in different bands, twin brothers Talor and Jordan realized they worked well together and began working under the moniker, The Moon City Masters. The band released their debut EP, The Adventures of the Moon City Masters in late 2019 and since then, they’ve been hard at work mastering songwriting and release strategies. - Billboard
