Through diligence and outstanding public relations, The Rubber Peeple have created strong relationships and quite a reputation for themselves as a professional and seasoned powerhouse to represent Norfolk, Virginia ‘s Hip Hop.  The seed of their journey starts as the alpha and “Omega” of the mighty Jhunippuz Elite Poetry Organization who were recognized and respected by the likes of Search and Mic Benzo (RCA-LOUD).

Carrying on the legacy of “Elite Poetry”, The Rubber Peeple have taken rap and utilized language arts to the fullest extent. Their template is a raw, refreshing salad of morals, politics, and streetwise integrity that commands attention when on the microphone. Known for their clarity, they are widely respected for their live performance. They take their craft of emceeing very seriously and it shows in their sound.

The Rubber Peeple have been rhyming for over twenty years. They have also been in “Love and Hip Hop” relationship for nineteen years having two beautiful sons that they have raised proudly in the culture of Hip-Hop. They have also taught the five elements of Hip-Hop to various communities for fifteen years. They not only focus on rocking the mic. They feel that it is also their responsibility to know their true reason and purpose for their art form.

The Rubber Peeple aim to restore credibility to the art of Emceeing. They are creating their own lane on the highways of this music industry. They hope to strike a balance and give Hip-Hop connoisseurs a choice of music with substance. They aren’t just emcees. They are musicians. They don’t want to just establish a career.
