"Folk duo turn over new leaf as The Sun. The Moon."

A new start. Turning over a new leaf. Wiping the slate clean.
Whichever cliché describes it best, sometimes everyone needs to just scrap the past and start again.
That's just what the band formerly known as Yesterday's Remnants did.
Folk duo Lane Butler and Lukas Grigsby are now performing under the name The Sun. The Moon. - Bobby Bozeman

"Concerts on the Dock: The Sun The Moon are a Muscle Shoals band with a sound you might not expect"

Grigsby, a multi-instrumentalist in this project, and Butler, a singer/guitarist, landed a coveted slot in the 2014 Concerts on the Dock lineup after winning busking auditions, plotted by a Lowe Mill and Downtown Huntsville Inc. and evaluated by covert "talent scouts," held July 18 and July 25 on the downtown square. The Sun The Moon were rehearsing at Butler's parents' house when they got the call that they'd won the audition. - Matt Wake

Bio

The Sun. The Moon. an Indie/Atmospheric Rock duo based out of the once recording capital of
the World, Muscle Shoals, AL, began in March of 2014. The members Lane Butler and Lukas Grigsby sought out to start fresh from the works they have created in the past, thus birthing The Sun. The Moon. Prior to The Sun. The Moon. Butler and Grigsby were a part of an Indie/Folk duo called Yesterday’s Remnants, in which they released one full length album “From the Other Side” in March of 2013. After releasing such a well put together album, while they were only seniors in high school, their album caught press attention from both the Times Daily Newspaper and Courier Journal. Later their single “The Compass” released in November of 2013. This song caught much attention from the media, being played as a number one requested song for the radio station, The New Star 94.9. Not
long after Butler and Grigsby realized their full potential and the affect their music had on the community, they decided to begin anew with The Sun. The Moon. They have finished recording Radiant and it is now available on iTunes, Spotify, etc.
