"Long Island Bands Get a Break at Bamboozle"

The Warden and F.A.M.E.
Bay Shore

Who They Are: As a genre-infused hip-hop reggae rock band, The Warden and F.A.M.E. from Bay Shore formed in 2010 and have since taken the scene by storm. As long as they play all year long, summer never leaves the Island.

Why Check ‘Em Out: They performed in last year’s Break Contest and played the Bamboozle at Met Life Stadium. Although they were aiming to take the ultimate prize this year, they are LI’s runner-up. After seeing them live, you will most likely be wiggling on the dance floor. Oh, and they have this really cool drum thing that’s become a staple at this point. - Long Island Press

Bio

The Warden and F.A.M.E. are a Hip-Hop/Reggae/Rock group based out of Bay Shore, NY. They formed in early 2010 since then have exploded onto the Long Island music scene. They have played at numerous venues across Long Island and NYC and tri-state area including top names such as: Arlene's Grocery, The Emporium, Tammany Hall, The Stone Pony, Ollie's Point/Revolution, Studio at Webster Hall, The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Le Poisson Rouge, The Paramount & historic Gramercy Theatre, to name a few. TWAF also have performed at The 2011 Bamboozle Festival at Met Life Stadium and The 2012 Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park, NJ. In 2013, we performed on the main stage at the 2013 Skate and Surf Festival at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ as well as the 2013 Beerfields Festival featuring The Dirty Heads & The Wailers. We have also supported nationally touring bands, most notably, The Dirty Heads (The Paramount), Passafire (Gramercy Theatre), Badfish (The Emporium), George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic (The Emporium), Angelo Moore of Fishbone (Evenflow/Le Poisson Rouge), Three Legged Fox (The Studio at Webster Hall) & Ballyhoo! (Gramercy Theatre), & Redman (Le Poisson Rouge).

The Warden and F.A.M.E. released their debut EP "Down to Funk" in Summer 2010 and plan on releasing their follow up LP in Spring 2014. The hit singles "Summertime", "Get My Roll On" and "The Weekends Here" have been rapidly bouncing around the internet and online stores for months. The Warden and F.A.M.E.'s melodies and original new Hip-Hop/Reggae combination is a sound that is indescribable. You have to HEAR it and SEE it to BELIEVE it. This band is the sound the music scene has been lacking for years!!

With a few singles bouncing around the internet, an album on the way, and what some say is one of the best live performances you will ever witness, TWAF have managed to garner a reputation in NY especially in Long Island for being that artist to watch. We have even recently been getting spins on FM radio stations WRCN103.9 as well as 94.3 The Shark. TWAF are continually working towards progression, creating new music and coming up with new ideas to thrill the listeners and live viewers. Come to a show and we guarantee you leave a happy lover of all things music!
