Dorrell M.L Edwards (born 22 June 1984), professionally known as Young-Rell aka Young-Tower, is a rapper, singer, actor, music engineer and occasional an artist.

Early life Young-Rell was born and raised in the south-side projects of Richmond, Virginia by his single parent mother Geneva Edwards, as the middle child of five boys. Rell was influenced by the artists whom his Aunt and Uncle would played on their home radio, such as Michael Jackson, Run DMC, Boyz to Men etc. A singer since the age of 2, Rell was not aware of his rapping ability until the age of 19. Before becoming a vocalist, he was interested in becoming an actor. By 10, Rell was discovered by his elementary school choir director who wanted to take him under her wing, but his mother refused to allow him at such a young age due to his environment. Since then, he began his recording career and decided to dedicate his career to making positive music which everybody calls good music, still unsigned but very talented and well respected by artist all around. Young-Rell aka Young-Tower He always gives thanks God because never thought he could make it this far and just for the ability to reach people in so many different ways.
