Tye

"Im thankful for my talents seen and unseen. Life is about courage and taking chances" Tyrike Davis(Tye) is considered one of Columbus premier singer songwriters, who's a New Jersey native but calling Columbus home for now. He's lived in the King-Lincoln district since his arrival to the buckeye state. Some of his influences are Marvin Gaye, Van Hunt, Cody Chesnutt, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer. During his blossoming music venture he's worked with and gained valuable information from a few notable artists in Columbus such as Middle Child, Speak Williams. He's traveled and played in a few notable venues including the apollo theater and meeting new artists everyday locally and worldwide. With a background in theater, short films, modeling and currently on a film project that has giving him and opportunity to spread his name and his sound, the sky's the limit. He's a self taught guitar player and also plays the piano, trumpet, trombone and drums. A lot of his material stems from life lessons and stories that pass his ear. He's currently working on his full project which should be very nice entitled crawl, walk, run, fly 
which should be finished early 2014
