"High Sierra Music Festival"

A unique voice in music today, hers is one that should definitely be heard. - Rebecca Yudenfreund

"Indie-Music.com"

"Kraemer's graceful, confident vocals, that at times sounds like a hybrid of Natalie Merchant and Fiona Apple, draw in listeners with her melodies and gutsy sound..." - Tiffany Razzano - Indie-Music.com

"Hot "Up & Comer" of 2010"

Chosen as Hot "Up & Comer" of 2010. - Brian Ball - Women's Radio Network

"KZGM - Pacifica Radio"

One hallmark of good songs is that they not only stand up to repeat listening, but that the listener finds something fresh, exciting or inspirational with each new hearing. And Camela Widad Kraemer's songs have that very magical quality... - Butch Kara

"Women's Radio Network"

Oh, her voice! It’s like bubblegum one moment and then offers a glint of rasp the next, and all the while oh-so-captivating! Camela Widad Kraemer is an accomplished touring songwriter, and has room to boast, having already added performances at several UK and US Festivals as notches to her bedpost. All the while, Camela maintains a humble and appreciated demeanor, often saturating intimate settings such as Coffeeshops and Songwriter Circles with her electrically-charged personality and gift of acoustic song. The last 10 years have seen Camela release a total of 4 albums, and 2010 marks the next step in her devoted journey to continuing the recording and performance of her breathtaking original material. - Brian Ball - WRN

Bio

Camela Widad is a modern day troubadour: one part poetess and one part mystic, with a voice like honey and fire. Her songs have a distinct Nashville vibe; the hooks feel familiar and the melodies easy. It's Americana Folk for the unpretentious music lover.

Widad's new recording 'Warriors of Love' is a little bit old school folk meets 'sit on the back porch on a hot summer night. Her voice begets a dichotomy: just a little bit saintly and a little bit rock-n-roll.

"Warriors" is a collection of songs that contain a level of songwriting and musicianship that have garnered Widad critical acclaim and awards, yet seems to echo a heartfelt call of love that is gathering a global village of love warriors.

Widad is a 2015 Emerging Songwriter with the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. "Warriors of Love" debuted on the national Folk Radio Charts in the top 40 at #38 upon it's release and was chosen as #5 in the Top Ten albums of 2015 with Radio Crystal Blue. She currently plays up and down the East Coast, parts of the Midwest and West Coast.

"Heavy stuff. This is not Taylor Swift territory. Could you imagine what Patsy Cline would think if she were able to hear a song like this one [Undefended Love]?" No Depression
