Informally trademarking much of his material with a playful "Yee!" rapper Y Sit GetteUp specializes in goofy, playful, easygoing, vulnerable singsongy rhymes delivered like taunts. Y Sit GetteUp was born in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Missouri City a surbuban area boriding Southwest, Houston. At the age of 16 , Y Sit embarked on his music career. After going in and out of prison he started taking his music more seriously, once T.i., Trae Tha Truth, Jay-Z bailed Y Sit GetteUp out of prison, Y Sit gained recognition.
Y Sit GetteUp experienced a viral boost after releasing his "Wasted" single in 2018, which now has 2 million views. Y Sit GetteUp has released two mixtapes, Country Club & Gette'N Knights Mixtape, debuted all over ALLHIPHOP magazines, SOURCE, Thisis50, HipHopSince 1987, Music On The Dot, and much more
